How to make instant veggie rawa uttapam

Rawa or semolina uttapam is a fitness friendly breakfast.It is easy to digest and easy to cook too.It is a low calories breakfast full of nutrition.
It takes only 30 minutes too cook so it is a quick and easy recipe.It is a perfect meal for lunch box too because it remains tasty and soft after getting cold too.

How to make instant veggie rawa uttapam ?


Time of preparation :20 mins
Time of cooking    :10 mins
Total time                :30 mins



Ingredients


Semolina or Rawa                    : 1 small bowl
Curd                                         : 1 table spoon
Water                                        : 2 cups (approx.)
Salt                                           : according to taste
Finely chopped onion              : 1
Finely chopped tomato            : 1
Finely chopped green chilli      : 2
Finely chopped capsicum         : 1
Finely chopped green coriander leaves : 1 table spoon
Ginger paste                             : 1 tea spoon
Grated  cheese (optional)         : 1/2 cup
Mustard seed                            : 1 tea spoon           
Cooking oil or butter                : 2 table spoon



Preparations


[1]  Take a large bowl, mix semolina , curd, water , and salt very well.

     [Apply water according to the consistency,the batter should not be much thick or much thin.]

[2]  keep the mixture for 20 minutes.


[3]  Then mix all the chopped veggies (onion, tomato,green chili, coriander),mustard seeds and ginger paste in the batter with the help of a ladle.


[4]  If you are a cheese lover, you can add cheese in this mixture too.It is optional.


[5]  Mix all the veggies and cheese in the batter very well with help of a ladle.




Making


[1]  Take a tawa or griddle and heat it on the medium flame.You can use a non-stick pan too.

     [If you are using a simple iron  tawa, then you should bake a bread or parantha first so that when          you pour or spread the batter,it will not stick on the surface of tawa.


[2]  Drip the tawa with the oil or butter.


[3]  Take the batter in a ladle.


[4]  Pour the batter on tawa  and spread it in a circular motion like dosa.


[5]  Drizzle some oil to the sides and at the top .


[6]  When the base turned into a golden brown texture , flip it carefully and shallow fry on the other side.


[7]  Now the delicious and yummy uttapam is ready to eat and serve.



     ENJOY IT WITH GREEN CORIANDER SAUCE AND TOMATO KETCHUP. :) :)
